Computer Lab
In the modern era, computer knowledge is a must for students. Whether it’s about designing a project or learning a new programming language, the computer plays a vital role. IDP School has established ultra-tech computer labs. A team of proficient teachers are available to guide and support students in navigating new tech skills, solving problems, and undertaking projects. The labs have been precisely designed to accommodate students of all ages with different skills levels, ensuring an inclusive learning environment for all.
Biology Lab
Biology is incomplete without practical projects. The subject ‘Biology’ is not all about textbooks. Experiments should be conducted to make learning easier. Hands-on experiments in biology labs make the topics more fascinating and meaningful. IDP School has a well-equipped lab where the theoretical concepts are conducted along with practical sessions, making the process of learning efficient. Use of innovative instruments aids in rich understanding of the topics.
The easy availability of study materials, instruments and specimens helps in grasping the information quickly. Microscopes, dissection kits, beakers, lamps, chemical reagents are stocked in the biology lab for students.
Math’s Lab
Math’s lab at IDP School is different from regular classes. Activities conducted at the Maths Lab are based on conceptual understanding and visualizing while making the subject more creative and fun-filled by using various educational tools. Students are provided guidance from professional educators.
Our school’s Math’s Lab has ample space for experimenting and exploring mathematical concepts with the help of various puzzles, games and other study materials. The lab is amply stocked with a projector, smartboard, mathematical puzzle, and help in hands on learning, problem solving and reasoning.
Students can use the lab materials during the projects to help clear the concept better.
Chemistry Lab
Committed to nurturing future scientists, IDP School, Motera, offers a world-class laboratory environment. Our students have the opportunity to conduct experiments and explore scientific concepts firsthand, fostering a deep understanding of chemistry.
The chemistry lab aims to:
- Foster a love for chemistry and scientific inquiry.
- Develop practical skills and techniques in conducting experiments.
- Enhance understanding of chemical concepts through observation and analysis.
- Cultivate problem-solving abilities and critical thinking skills.
- Encourage a spirit of curiosity and innovation in scientific exploration.
Our chemistry lab aims to:
- Cultivate the culture of curiosity and critical thinking among students. Encourage students to ask questions, make observations, and draw conclusions.
- Develop practical skills: Equip students with the ability to conduct experiments, record data, and analyse results.
- Promote understanding of chemical concepts: Reinforce theoretical knowledge through practical demonstrations and experiments.
- Instil safety awareness: Teach students the importance of following safety protocols while working in a laboratory environment.
- Cultivate a passion for chemistry: Inspire students to pursue further studies and careers in the field of chemistry.
Physics Lab
The Physics Laboratory at our school is not all about a room filled with equipment; It is designed to make learning physics an exciting and rewarding journey. It provides students a unique chance to explore the wonders of physics through hands-on experiments.
Why a Well-Equipped Physics Lab Matters:
A well-resourced physics laboratory is essential for a comprehensive understanding of scientific concepts. It offers numerous benefits:
- Concrete Learning: Bridging the gap between theory and practice, the lab transforms abstract ideas into tangible experiences.
- Skill Enhancement: Students develop crucial skills like observation, measurement, data analysis, and problem-solving.
- Scientific Mindset: It fosters a scientific temper, encouraging curiosity, critical thinking, and a relentless pursuit of knowledge.
- Exam Success: The lab prepares students for practical exams, boosting their overall performance in physics.
Library
The school has a spacious library and has a sorted collection of various books, magazines and journals. Our library is a stockroom of the latest information related to schoolbooks and beyond. Libraries are meant for cultivating a culture of reading among students. Regular reading improves concentration power, creates awareness regarding current affairs and develops learning skills.
A library is such a place where you can connect with people and learn and share something innovative with each other. There are 1000 plus books in our school library including fiction and non-fiction books. Apart from these, we have self-help books, language books, classics, literature, ancient history, tech books and journals, reference materials for both teachers and students.
Various events and activities are conducted in the school based on reading concepts. Each class has a specific library period every week. Students can read books in the library. Else, they can ask library staff to issue a book per week.

House System
The school has been divided into 4 houses i.e. Sardar, Gandhi, Nehru and Subhash. The houses systems in school enhances team spirit and kinship among students. Each house is mentored by specific leaders who are responsible for managing discipline and general wellbeing in the school. Inter-house competitions and activities are organized throughout the year for instilling a healthy culture in the institute.
The Prefectural System
A council has been setup for students to encourage them to manage their affairs independently. School appoints captain, prefects, head girl and head boy. Their role is to act as a coordinator between school authorities and student community.
